Two strong players
The collaboration between one of the world’s largest electronic brokers, which executes, clears and settles over 1 million trades per day and has client equity of USD 142.5 billion, and GENTWO combines the leading electronic trading platform in terms of price, variety of products and risk control with the most flexible and cost-efficient issuing solution from GENTWO.

Collaboration of the world's largest broker Interactive Brokers and Swiss fintech GENTWO.

Patrick Loepfe, co-founder of GENTWO, said, “Interactive Brokers is not only a trading technology pioneer, but it also sets the benchmark for risk control and portfolio analysis options. So, they provide an ideal solution for our clients.”

The most flexible, transparent and cost-efficient Actively Managed Certificates
In contrast to passive index tracking certificates, Actively Managed Certificates, or AMCs, allow an asset manager to securitize an active portfolio strategy. Thanks to this dynamic approach, AMCs are suitable for especially innovative ideas. Therefore, the flexibility of issuing houses is all the more important. It is precisely the flexibility of the investment strategy with regard to the frequency of transactions, the selection of investment universe and the method of implementation that is redefined by this collaboration between Interactive Brokers and GENTWO and sets a new standard.
Now, not only normal long-only allocations can be implemented but also an option or future trading strategy up to intra-day trading systems.

Clients of GENTWO can now benefit from access to the market-leading Interactive Brokers platform and can carry out the rebalancing of their AMC in real time and as often as they like, very much as if they were managing a managed account. The products are securitized not via an investment bank but via off-balance sheet issuance entity, which is totally segregated and individually established for every client.

All AMCs have a Swiss paying agent and Swiss ISIN, so they meet the highest trading standards. By optimizing processes and deep integration of the Interactive Brokers technology into GENTWO’s platform all this is highly scalable and can be achieved at a fraction of the cost of AMCs of conventional issuers.
Rapid, inexpensive setup, total product transparency and the removal of bank-associated issuer risk, combined with the power of a top online broker, allow asset managers to implement the fastest and most individual investment strategies at minimal cost.
